Hi, I’m Sarah, I work in the field of drawing, sometimes as an illustrator, but I’m mostly interested in drawing comics and cartoons. Currently I’m working on a few different comic and zine projects, mostly dealing with themes of ambivalences, loneliness, nature, gender and often sex. Right now I’m using a lot of auto fictional elements, interconnecting these with mythological and sci-fi creatures and philosophical/theoretical ideas from queer and gender studies. I’ve been working a lot on medium and smaller formats due to my love for Riso printing and the size limits that come with it. Book making is my passion and main focus, but I just started doing ceramics and textile works that function as additions/3d realizations of the drawn images.
