Daniele Morganti is an illustrator, art director, and teacher born in Messina in 1991 who has lived and worked in Milan for over a decade. His distinct, minimal shapes craft a welcoming and subtly ironic visual world that reflects both his personal observations and his passion for independent publishing. For the festival, he presents works from his book “8:37 (circa)”, a highly personal collection of drawings published by the independent art book publisher Dito. The title refers to that specific, quiet hour of the morning just before breakfast when the artist creates purely for himself, entirely free from commercial intent. The resulting exhibition bridges these private moments and public display, showcasing the published book alongside the original files and supplementary, unreleased designs curated specifically for the exhibition space.
