My name is Fidelia Schlegl, I was born in Germany and am currently studying MA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts in London, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
I am interested in the intersection between experimental comics and contemporary drawing. In this context I like to play with readability and abstraction, leaving room for different interpretations. Themes I am currently exploring are personal and collective emotions, the relationship between the individual and the collective, the force of natural elements and sometimes magic.
