Jan Šrámek is a visual artist, illustrator, and educator. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at Brno University of Technology (BUT), where he currently co-heads the Video Studio alongside Martin Mazanec. He also works as an artistic duo with the artist Veronika Vlková.
He is the illustrator and co-author of several publications, including Endangered Species (Ohrožené Druhy, 2025), You Can’t Stop Progress, Man! (Pokrok nezastavíš, čéče!, 2023), How to Enjoy a Film (Jak si užít film, 2022), Apolenka from Indigo Print (Apolenka z modrotisku, 2020), That’s the Metro, Man! (To je metro, čéče!, 2019), Prague Visions (Pražské vize, 2017), Special Circumstances (Zvláštní okolnosti, 2016), Pioneers and Robots (Pionýři a Roboti, 2016), Letná Glossary (Letenský Glosář, 2016), Building Houses Isn’t Enough (Postavit domy nestačí, 2015), and Lost Perspective (Ztracená Perspektiva, 2013).
