Silent Army Projects ‘Opposights’
Silent Army is an imprint that began as a name for publishing comic artist anthologies and organising independent art projects in Australia and the South Pacific region. The imprint works on publishing anthologies and often places European artists with Australian and South Pacific based comic artists.
The pages on display here are from the silent army book ‘Opposights: alternative comic artists from Australia and Portugal’ with 8 artists from each country. Each of the 16 artists has written and drawn a piece reflecting on ‘scene’ and ‘community’ for them.
