Nikita Bürger, born in 1987 in Kazakhstan, currently lives and works in Hamburg, Germany. Nikita studied Graphic Design and Illustration. Alongside drawing, he is part of the Hamburg-based risograph studio „Risofort“. Next to drawing he enjoys printmaking, organizing and designing posters for very loud basement punk concerts. His visual work is characterized by a somewhat surreal narrative and explores the interconnection of nature in contemporary society, and pseudo–science fiction. His practice spans illustration, printmaking, zines, and music posters.
