Asuka is an illustrator/comic artist from Japan and currently based in Leipzig. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, he moved to Prague, Kyoto, and Leipzig to pursue his creative activities. He focuses on the emotions of people’s lives, including joys and sorrows. In addition, his works often go back and forth between reality and fantasy. In today’s digitalized world, he also values hand-drawn textures, humour, and minimalism.
