She graduated in graphic design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (VŠVU) in Bratislava. She has illustrated more than twenty books, not only for children and young adults, for both Slovak and international publishers. Among other projects, she worked on experimental editions of In Watermelon Sugar by Richard Brautigan (2011) and Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino (2016). She is the recipient of the BIB Medal 2013 and the Golden Apple Award at BIB 2017, and has won several awards in the Najkrajšie knihy Slovenska (Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia) and Nejkrásnější české knihy roku (Most Beautiful Czech Books of the Year) competitions. The book MYKO. A Complete Guide to the World of Fungi (Jiří Dvořák, published by Baobab) won the main Bologna Ragazzi Award in the nonfiction category. She has had a long-term collaboration with the association Čierne diery, which focuses on documenting forgotten and endangered industrial architecture in Slovakia.
