Pauler Pauler is a German multidisciplinary artist, illustrator, and graphic designer who graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg and works under the moniker Pauler Pauler. Her versatile creative practice seamlessly blends tactile illustrations, sound design, and narrative elements to construct deeply poetic, immersive worlds that blur the line between reality and everyday fiction. For the festival, she presents “Creature Feature,” a vibrant project operating at the intersection of an interactive pop-up store and a contemporary art installation. The playful, comprehensive brand universe materializes through an eclectic mix of custom card games, independent audio plays, original books, and hand-printed merchandise like shirts. Furthermore, her gallery space is dynamically inhabited by an abundance of whimsical, physical organisms that spill across the walls and floors as soft plushies and handmade clay figures. Ultimately, the multifaceted environment invites visitors to step directly into a physical storybook, celebrating material variety and charming, character-driven curiosity.
