Audrey Ramos

Audrey Ramos (1998) is a Peruvian and Swiss artist based in Geneva. Her work intimately weaves together her dual cultural heritage to explore notions of identity, memory, and home through drawing, painting, and writing. Her pieces often depict repetitive or fragmented landscapes, conveying a sense of disorientation and a search for grounding within a cultural in-between. Music—particularly Peruvian folklore—runs through her compositions like a guiding thread, linking personal memory with collective narrative. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration from Ceruleum School in 2020 and is currently pursuing her studies in Visual Arts at HEAD – Geneva. In 2024, she exhibited in Arles as part of the Festival du Dessin, in Leipzig for Snail Eyes Cosmic Comic, in Geneva (Porteus, Le Trou, and L’EspaceIndustrie for the 20th anniversary of Hécatombe Édition), and more recently in Lucerne at the Fumetto Festival.

Title of the artwork – “Près du Saule” in english “Near the Willow”
Artwork description – an autofiction poised between silence and observation, moving landscapes and solitude. A short story about leaving a home and a breaking point. It follows simple gestures—packing boxes, choosing what to take, saying goodbye to objects, to walls, to routines. Small edition published in June 2024
