Rotopol is a small German publishing house focused on picture books and comics, which has been led by illustrator Rita Fürstenau since 2007. They are based in Kassel and have already collected a number of awards for their titles. They publish books by leading illustrators such as Anna Haifisch, Beatrice Alemagna, Michel Esselbrüge, Icinori, Jesse Jacobs, Malwine Stauss or Jakub Plachý. At LUSTR, Rotopol will be personally presented by Rita Fürstenau, who, in addition to publishing activities, is also an active illustrator and, for example, participates in the program making of the Hamburg Comicfestival. Her trip was financially supported by the Czech Literary Centre and Czech Centers.
