Barbora Satranská is a graduate of the illustration and graphics studio at UMPRUM in Prague. Natural, most often floral motifs are very characteristic of her work, in addition to illustration and artistic graphics, Satranská is also dedicated to comic creation and live VJing on the Meotar device. Her short comic novel Spořilov won the Muriel prize in the student category for 2019, in 2022 Satranská sat as a member of the expert jury of the comics section of the LUSTR illustration festival. She finished her studies at the UMPRUM with the author’s book Mluvit o jablkách a neznat jabloně, dedicated to the symbolic, personal and factual levels of the story about the apple.
