Tomáš Staněk is an illustrator and visual artist who graduated from the Studio of Illustration in Pilsen. In addition to illustration and comics, he focuses primarily on fine art drawing and painting, zine production, post-graffiti, mural painting, and rap. He is the author of the graphic novels Metro (2017) and Holidays (Prázdniny, 2023), and for nearly a decade, he co-published the comics magazine XRXmag. He creates murals and exhibitions as one half of the artistic duo OBRAS AKROBAD. He lives and works in Prague, which serves as a major baseline and foundation for his work. In 2025, his authorial book Peripheral Guide to Prague (Periferní průvodce Prahou), an original illustrated travel guide to non-traditional spots across the capital, was published by Labyrint.
