Vittoria Annechini is a Verona-based Italian illustrator and comic artist whose creative practice seamlessly bridges the worlds of sequential storytelling and independent visual art. Having previously participated in LUSTR 2024, she returns to Prague with an expanded portfolio that showcases her ongoing exploration of youth culture and narrative worldbuilding. For this year’s festival, Annechini presents a comprehensive look into her storytelling universe, anchored by original panels from her recent degree graduation comic project aimed at a young adult audience. Her installation dynamically layers these narrative comic sequences with a diverse collection of loose drawings, preliminary character sketches, and small personal paintings. By displaying these behind-the-scenes processes alongside her finished sequential pages, her exhibition offers visitors an intimate glimpse into how her literary concepts evolve into complete visual worlds, celebrating the rich, atmospheric textures that define independent comic production.
