Basics of Animation in Photoshop and GIF Sticker Creation

This workshop is intended for beginner animators, illustrators, and complete newcomers who want to dive into the world of animation. Participants will learn the basic workflow of creating a simple animation in Adobe Photoshop – from the first sketch, through animated layers, all the way to export. They will then create their own GIF stickers and upload them to the GIPHY platform, where their animations can live on across social media. The workshop focuses on the creative process, simple techniques, and practical tips for bringing illustrations to life.
School for Pros – an educational program of the LUSTR festival for emerging illustrators, animators, and comic creators who want to take their skills to the next level. Industry professionals will share their experience, tips, and tricks from practice.
The workshop will be led by the animators from panika.xyz, who have been animating the visuals for the LUSTR festival for the past three years.
