Adam is one of the exhibitors in this year’s main LUSTR exhibition, and his comics are visually powerful, with a distinctive ornamental style often intertwined with non-linear storytelling. He tells his stories through visual references, symbols, and atmosphere, using minimal text – often without any dialogue at all. In this workshop, you will learn more about Adam’s creative methods and design your own one-page A4 comic. Through a collage of your own images and symbols, participants will sketch and assemble a visual narrative that blends imaginative aesthetics with personal themes. The aim is to create a story through visually striking references that illustrate the plot on their own and can engage the reader even without words.
