We warmly invite you to the closing event of the exhibition “Gardens of Eden, Gardens Desolate – Nature and Landscape in Historical and Contemporary Illustration.” Please note, this event will take place outside the main festival venues, at the Klementinum Gallery! The exhibition features seven artistic dialogues where creators of historical book illustrations and illuminations from the late Middle Ages to Baroque meet with contemporary illustrators. On display are reproductions of the most beautiful herbals, cabinets of curiosities, bestiaries, and medical books from the National Library’s collections.
