Cut out and assemble your own original flower poster, there are no limits to your imagination and scissors! For an hour and a half, we will become amateur botanists and use collage techniques to create a page for our own herbarium based on real flowers, or a picture to decorate an empty space on the wall.
Linda Retterová studied animated film at UMPRUM. During her studies, she did internships in textiles in Prague and Paris, as well as in a risography studio in Berlin. After graduating, she founded her own textile brand, ROE, under which she creates original designs and hand-prints fabrics. She has been involved in illustration since the beginning of her studies, and it has been a constant companion throughout her work. From her first commissions for children’s magazines and posters for music events to the present day, when she transforms her illustrations into her textile collections. She occasionally works on original books and animation. She enjoys working with collage, spontaneity, and bright colors.
The workshop follows on from Linda’s exhibition of her original “herbarium,” which she has been working on for several years. It can be seen at LUSTR in the Showcase section in Hall 13.
