At the round table, Spanish, Argentinean, and Czech artists will come together for a debate focused on comics as a carrier of critical understanding. The goal will be to highlight the peculiarities of individual artists and the constants in their works, where their efforts towards narrative-graphic communication about climate change, biodiversity, or ecological issues take precedence. We will explore each artist’s favorite themes, contexts, and creative processes, as well as the means they employ to awaken readers’ sensitivity, arouse their curiosity, and inform them with properly confirmed scientific data.
