Welcoming Back Playfulness: Finding Ideas and Experiment with Sonja Stangl

What made us become illustrators? For Austrian artist Sonja Stangl, it definitely was playfulness, the love of what happens when you put stuff on paper and see it grow. However, this lightness and joy can disappear once drawing becomes your daily job. In this lecture, Sonja will give a little insight into the process of experimentation with different materials, homemade textures and nature as well as into the conflict between efficiency and fun that everyone may run into. The lecture will be held in English and is organized in cooperation with the Broumov Illustration Symposium.
