Three distinctive personalities of Czech comics will present their latest works. Julie Černá has completed her dreamlike comic saga “Kámen osudu” after years, which you must not miss if you’re a fan of alternative comics. Tomáš Staněk has remastered and expanded his summer story about teenage graffiti writers “Prázdniny” for book version coming out in Centrala publishing house. Matyáš Namai will introduce his second graphic novel coming out right during the LUSTR festival – a documentary comics titled “Černobyl – pád Atomgradu,” following the stories of local people up to the present day. Both “Prázdniny” and “Černobyl” will get a festive launch at this occasion! Live comics readings are among the most beloved festival programs, be sure to join in!
The program will be conducted in Czech with simultaneous interpretation into English.
