Who Tells Whom About What

The London exhibition by David Böhm and Jiří Franta, Who Tells Whom About What, presented a series of paper models of cities. Rather than designing the future, these models raised questions and challenged the current arrangement of the world. Themes of neighbourhood, foreignness, coexistence, as well as a thread of uncertainty emerged throughout the exhibition.

The exhibition at the Vitrínka gallery in Kensington ended after six months on 25 January 2023 with a closing event (“dernisage”) accompanied by a performative parade with banners through the streets of London. Throughout its duration, the exhibition also intervened in public space through an installation on the street next to the Czech Embassy in London.

The exhibition was created in cooperation between the LUSTR festival and the Czech Centres and was also included in the official programme of Kensington + Chelsea Art Week. Photographs of the exhibited models were taken by Pavel Horák.
