This exhibition presents the diverse Czech comics scene, which differs from global genres such as American superhero stories or classics like Tintin. While major publishers often focus on adventure and autobiographical narratives, independent magazines and small publishers offer a wide range of styles, including fantasy, surrealism, horror, and queer comics. Many of the comics presented are also part of a special Czech issue of the Latvian anthology Kuš!, which supports non-mainstream comics and encourages creators to explore innovative and unconventional ideas.
