LUSTR represents a vibrant community of young Czech and Slovak illustrators with bold ideas and creative minds. Our goal is to present contemporary Czech illustration from LUSTR’s perspective, not only in Prague but worldwide.

In the past, we have organized the following exhibitions:

LUSTR ON TOUR is an international travelling illustration exhibition showcasing contemporary Czech and Slovak illustrators. The project began in 2017 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and has since toured cities across Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.

After a successful exhibition at the Czech Centre in Berlin, LUSTR ON TOUR continued to venues including LokArt Gallery in Broumov, the Czech House in Jerusalem, the MORS Festival in Moscow, Ravenstein Gallery in Brussels, the Czech Centre in Munich, Moving Station Gallery in Pilsen, and Dobra Vaga Gallery in Ljubljana. In June 2022, the exhibition returned to Moving Station Gallery in Pilsen.

At the end of 2022, two LUSTR ON TOUR exhibitions took place simultaneously: one as part of the Gran Salón Mexico Festival in Mexico City, and another in London at Vitrínka Gallery. In spring 2023, in cooperation with the Czech Centres, LUSTR presented a curated selection of the most outstanding illustrators from the latest LUSTR edition at the Jerusalem Cinematheque in Israel.
