Petra Widžová studied curatorial studies at the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem and as an independent curator she worked on exhibition projects for the Museum of Art and Design Benešov, the Hraničář Gallery in Ústí nad Labem or the Czech Center in Berlin among others. She focuses on developing new forms of presentation of contemporary art, co-founded the street gallery Vitríny Frýdlantská or the Open Studios Prague festival. She has long focused on illustration as well, primarily within the Artmat project @artmat_, which gives space to young artists in particular. During LUSTR 2025, Petra will take part as a juror in the Showcase free illustration section.
