Festival of Illustration and Comics 2026

Come and explore the world of illustration and comics in its most vibrant form! Every year, the Festival showcases dozens of talented creators across several themed exhibitions—ranging from legendary figures to complete newcomers in the field. For thirteen years, we have been connecting creators from the Czech Republic and abroad, sharing the most beautiful books, and exchanging know-how through workshops and lectures.

LUSTR offers exhibitions, presentations, programs for children and adults, and above all, a unique opportunity to meet the most exciting illustrators and comic artists in person.

For 2026, the LUSTR Festival has prepared:

Main Exhibition – Landscape 2.0
Experience the contemporary landscape in the Anthropocene: mechanized environments, post-industrial cities, and speculative visions of the future – presented across illustration, comics, and visually innovative computer games. Visitors can also look forward to a Showcase exhibition curated from an international open call, an International Salon focusing this year on the Portuguese illustration scene,
