Born in 1994, Sophie Couderc is an artist, author and illustrator. She lives and works in France. A graduate of École Estienne and HEAR Strasbourg, she combines drawings and graphic storytelling, exploring the porous relationship between intimacy and dreamlike states, and aiming to bring forth new contemporary narratives.
In 2023, she received the CNL Discovery Grant for Gogoplata Vol. 1,a sci-fi comic published my Magnani editions. Her work has been exhibited in France and abroad. As a founding member of the Exposissimo collective, she takes part in projects where the exhibition becomes a hybrid space, blending drawing, unconventional scenography, and performance.
