Michaela is a director, animator and illustrator based in Prague. As a graduate of the Department of Animation at FAMU, her professional focus is on the field of animation, with a specific focus on its visual aspect and design. She was first introduced to the world of illustration by exhibiting her work at the LUSTR Festival of Illustration in 2020 and subsequently exhibited there in 2021 in the section Zmar. Recently, you could see her illustrations on the covers of the online magazine Mít domov, focusing on social housing, in the magazine Konopí or in other various projects where she combines her original illustrations with animation.
Michaela is currently working on several film projects as a visual artist and animator. She is also working on the production of her own animated short The Princess and the Wolf, and since 2021 she has been teaching at the Department of Animation at FAMU, where she focuses on teaching the artistic side of animation.
