Stanislava is currently a first-year master’s student in the Drawing and Printmaking studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno (FAVU). Her work focuses primarily on drawing and object-making, where she combines a graphic and illustrative approach with the spatial and material possibilities of metal and textiles. In both her objects and drawing installations, she uses readymade objects, which she sees as a bridge between reality and the introspective nature of her drawings. A central keyword in her artistic practice is “contentment”, which she explores through various introspective narratives and references to the social issues of today’s fast-paced world.
She has presented her work in two solo exhibitions: Bedroom routines (2023) at the Brno-based off-space gallery Zaazrak-Dornych, and She knows no summer break (2024) at Gallery Umakart in Brno. Her work has also appeared in group shows such as Opora (2024) at Tabačka Gallery in Košice, as well as within the festivals Tehláreň 2024 and Lofofora 2024. In addition to her independent artistic practice, Stanislava also works as a tattoo artist under the name stanushka.tattoo.
