Lena is an illustrator from Bielefeld, and she draws stories about waves, roots, seasons, friendship, and potatoes. Six years ago, she founded a feminist magazine (Naturtrüb) for text and drawing. Together, they publish magazines, organize exhibitions, give workshops, and host lectures and parties. Lena earns money designing book covers for academic publications and studies illustration and graphic storytelling in Hamburg. She lives there on the edge of the forest, and eight years ago spent a year working in Prague at a small NGO on modern European history. She misses the Czech Republic and she is looking forward to eat smažený sýr.
