David Schilter is the co-founder of kuš!, worldwide known comics publishing house based in Riga, Latvia. Since 2007 he has been publishing the award winning kuš! anthology and mini comics edition which include the works by alternative artists from around the world. Next to getting artistic comics into print and distributing them internationally, he is also organizing comics exhibitions, workshops, competitions, artist residencies, comics jams and other comics related events besides traveling to international festivals to spread the comics fever. In 2022, for example, David has been a part of jury at Bologna Children Book Fair’s comics section.
