Polina is 23 years old and she studies Didactic Illustration at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art in Pilsen. Her artistic language is characterized by a combination of disciplined line, humor and exaggeration. She often finds inspiration during train rides from Prague to Pilsen, where she reflects on everyday situations and turn them into visual stories. Recently, Polina has been particularly drawn to explore motifs from the masculine world – for example, the environment of a gym, which she has also worked on in her submitted project. In addition to illustration, in her spare time she works with quick-drying matter, which also finds a place in this series.
